Partaking in the Partee!

March 28, 2007

Last Friday saw the UK Launch Party for Issue #2 of T World Magazine, held in London’s Premier T Shirt store, Bond International.

T-World was started by 4 T-Shirt addicts from Melbourne and is fast growing to be one of the leading journals on all things T-related. The London launch was a great night, with good friends, free beer and goodie bags for every T-Shirt Fiend lucky enough to attend.

March 26, 2007

Sick of being burned by ebay re-sellers but still hankering after some of Shepard’s finest?

Head to Art Republic in Brighton. Buried in their store site they have a collection of sort after numbered and signed limited edition screen prints. What’s more is that you will get great customer service and in addition they offer a fantastic framing service. Dig around, you might find a gem.  You know what they say…….the early bird!!!!

OBEY the INK…

March 9, 2007

Here at OBEY we do not believe in having official “teams” or athlete/celebrity endorsements.  What we do believe in are certain individuals who, over the course of time, have grown to become part of our OBEY family

These individuals come from all walks of life and represent some of the foundations that OBEY was built on.  We would like to take this time to introduce to you one such member of our family – award winning Tattoo Artist, Gary Wiedenhof.

Gary began tattooing in 1997 when he arrived back in Scotland after spending his youth growing up in Amsterdam.  At school, he was kicked out of art class for refusing to draw bowls of fruit, prefering to spend his time drawing technical pieces and getting into graffiti.  Gary now owns his own studio – Inkredible Kreations.

Described as “one of the UK’s best kept secrets“, Gary spends his spare time DJ’ing, having his roots firmly in Hip Hop culture.  OBEY is proud to have this celebrated tattoo artist and ‘gentle giant’ in the family.
